Bringing psychological science into everyday life through thoughtful, engaging presentations on trauma, anxiety, neurodiversity, and women’s mental health.
Available for community organizations, libraries, workplaces, and professional audiences throughout Oklahoma.
Most people never sit in a therapist’s office, but nearly everyone has questions about stress, sleep, relationships, attention, and the changes that come with each stage of life.
My presentations bring clear, research-informed education into the rooms where people already gather. Audiences leave with language for what they are experiencing, practical tools they can use the same day, and a better sense of when and where to find support.
Perimenopause, Mood, Anxiety & the Changing Brain
Perimenopause can arrive years before anyone expects it, and it often shows up first as anxiety, irritability, poor sleep, brain fog, or a sense of no longer feeling like yourself. Many women are told it is “just stress” and are left to piece the picture together alone.
This 45–60 minute presentation explains what is happening in the brain and nervous system during this transition, how it can affect mood, focus, relationships, and identity, and what helps.
This talk offers mental health education from a licensed counselor. Medical diagnosis and hormone treatment belong with your physician, and the presentation encourages that partnership.
Each topic can be adapted for a general audience, parents, educators, workplaces, or fellow professionals.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, an Oklahoma Board-approved LPC Supervisor, and the owner of Indigo Behavioral Health in Yukon. For eight years I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, with a focus on trauma, PTSD and Complex PTSD, ADHD, and autism, using EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my primary approaches.
I speak because good information changes things. When people understand what is happening in their minds and bodies, they feel less alone, and they are more likely to reach for the help that fits them.
Share a few details about your event and audience, and I’ll follow up to talk through topics, timing, and availability.
